Eight long feather-like petals, each finely ridged with parallel lines and notched by a small heart at the tip, fan out to fill most of this circle. They spring from a flower of heart-tipped petals, which itself opens around a tight ring of eight small oval seed-shapes circling a pinpoint center. Between the large petals, small clusters of round beads fill the gaps. A slim border of tiny scrolls and bead-dots runs just inside the plain double-line circle that closes the design, with no scalloped or cut edge.

Start with the central seed-ring and bead clusters, the tightest areas, before moving out to the feather petals, where the ridges leave enough room for smooth gradients.
