Cat Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a stylized cat face with pointed ears sits inside a lotus of slender petals, its forehead marked by three small spirals. A thin double line rings this medallion, followed by a crown of small pointed petals set like teeth, then a second double line opening onto the wide outer band: four cat faces, comma-shaped curled tails, fish, spirals and tiny flowers. The outer edge stays a clean circle drawn in a simple double line, with no beads or scalloping.

The linework is fine and even at the center, leaving large open areas on the face and petals that make this mandala coloring page approachable for beginners. The outer band, though, packs in miniature fish, spirals and flowers that call for a steady hand and sharply pointed pencils. Expect a solid evening, working from the center out to the rim.

Start with the central face, then move ring by ring outward: the spirals and fish in the outer band are the finest areas, best kept for colored pencils rather than markers, which tend to bleed into such small spaces. This printable mandala prints well at A4 on heavy paper of at least 200 gsm, which holds up better to repeated pencil layers without buckling.
