Cat Mandala #5 - Free Coloring Page

A stylised cat face fills the centre of the mandala: triangular ears and a muzzle carved with swirls and small spirals, above wide almond eyes marked with a vertical pupil line. The face sits over a five-pointed star, itself buried in a dense disc of spirals, heart-shaped scrolls and diamonds that fill the whole inner circle. A thin ring separates this medallion from a wide outer band where eight almond cat-eyes alternate with small Celtic knotwork and tiny rosebuds. A clean double circle closes the design, with no beading or scalloped edge.

The linework is fine and tightly packed, especially in the cat's swirls and the knotwork band, which makes this printable mandala better suited to steady hands than to beginners. The diamonds and heart-scrolls in the middle ring give slightly larger spaces to fill. Expect two to three hours of careful work to cover the whole page, more if you shade each spiral separately.

Sharpened pencils or fine-tip markers work better than broad markers here, especially around the eyes and spirals of the cat face, the most delicate part of the drawing. Start with the central face before moving out to the more repetitive knotwork ring.
