Chakra Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a small lotus holds a single Sanskrit syllable. Eight round medallions surround it: four enclose a hexagram with a letter, two hold a triangle with another glyph, and two carry a pair of facing scroll-like swirls. A wide band of pointed lotus petals, layered in two rows, wraps around this ring, closing with a thin double circle and a bold, clean black outline around the whole mandala.

The linework stays fine and even throughout, except for that outer ring, which is noticeably thicker. Spaces to fill are small and plentiful — petals, hexagram compartments, single letters — making this mandala coloring page fairly demanding, better suited to someone already comfortable with fine detail than to a first attempt. Expect around an hour to work from the center out to the edge.

Start with the central lotus, then work through the eight medallions one at a time before tackling the petal band, which repeats and goes faster; a fine liner or a sharpened pencil handles the hexagrams better than a broad marker. For printing, this printable mandala holds up well on A4 190 gsm paper, or A3 if the small glyphs feel too tight.
