Chakra Mandala #15 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre, a six-pointed star made of two interlaced triangles frames a standing deer, surrounded by flame-like rays and set on a ring of lotus petals. A tight band of fine spirals and scrollwork surrounds this core. Eight circular medallions sit around it, each with a different symbol — an Om syllable, a lotus flower, a triangle, a spiral, a sun, a stylised fish. A band of filigree precedes a ring of large pointed petals, then two thin lines close the design.

The line stays fine from centre to edge, growing denser in the scrollwork bands and the dotted spaces between medallions. Spaces range from tiny (spirals, dots) to more generous (outer petals, triangles). This mandala coloring page suits a hand used to detail, with several sittings ahead of it.

Fine markers or well-sharpened pencils work better than a broad tip, which would swallow the spirals and the eight medallions. Start with those medallions, the most self-contained sections, before the dense central scrollwork band. For this printable mandala, A3 paper at 200gsm leaves enough room to lay down colour without spilling over the finest lines.
