Chakra Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of the mandala, two interlocking triangles form a six-pointed star inside a small circle. This central medallion sits inside a ring of eight pointed petals filled with fine curling lines. Around that runs a band of eight separate small circles, spaced apart by short rows of parallel tick marks: an open eye at the top, a six-pointed star, an upward triangle, a square crossed by two diagonals, a downward triangle, a crescent moon, and two more triangles on the sides. A double circular line frames this ring of symbols, opening onto a wide band of large two-layer petals, each carved with internal spirals, that fills most of the disc. The outer edge is made of two thin concentric circles with a steady row of small round dots running between them, like a string of beads.

The linework stays thin and even throughout, from the tiny central symbols to the outer petals, but the spaces to fill differ a lot: the eight symbol circles and the medallion's spirals call for a careful hand, while the outer petals leave broad, restful areas. This printable mandala suits someone with a bit of coloring experience, able to shift between tight detail at the center and looser fills toward the rim; plan on one to two hours to finish it depending on how many colors are used.

Fine markers or well-sharpened pencils work best on the eight small symbols and the spirals at the heart of the design, where a thick line would blur the detail; broader pencils can then take over for the large outer petals. Starting at the central medallion before moving out to the petal band makes the piece easier to manage.
