Christmas Mandala #5 - Free Coloring Page

A sixteen-point star, doubled in outline, fills the center around a small rosette core. Eight round medallions, each holding a different snowflake, ring the star and are separated by looping ribbon curls. A middle band scatters more snowflakes and ribbon loops before the widest, outer wreath: pointed poinsettia flowers, ribboned gift boxes, hanging bells and small berry clusters, all linked by an interlacing lattice of vines. A clean circle closes the mandala.

Linework tightens on the snowflakes and berry clusters, which call for a steady hand, while the flower petals and the flat faces of the gift boxes leave wide, easy spaces to fill. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with detail work, switching between a fine pencil and a broader marker; expect several sittings to work through every ring.

Start with the central star and the snowflake medallions before moving to the more forgiving outer wreath; a hard pencil lead keeps the smallest snowflake lines from filling in. For this printable mandala, print at A3 on 200 gsm paper so the finest details stay visible.
