Artistic Abstract Mandala #4 - Free Coloring Page

The outer edge of this mandala is not a clean circle: large S- and C-shaped scrolls curl outward and break the silhouette into a ruffled, lace-like contour. Moving inward, a ring of tiny round faces - simple dot eyes and a curved smile - sits nested among small petals, an unexpected touch of character in an otherwise abstract design. Below them, a band of hearts and teardrop shapes forms a scalloped border, and at the very center a small star-shaped burst sends flame-like, swirling tendrils outward in an asymmetric pinwheel that fills the innermost zone.

The linework stays fine and continuous throughout, but the spacing tightens noticeably in the middle ring of faces and hearts, while the outer scrolls open into somewhat larger curves. This is a dense mandala coloring page, built from dozens of small compartments, best suited to colorists who already have some practice and are ready to spend several sessions on it rather than finishing in one sitting.

On this printable mandala, start with the mid-ring hearts and faces, since their shapes are easier to isolate, before tackling the tightly wound scrolls near the center and the outer edge. Fine-tip markers or sharp colored pencils will hold up better than broad markers on such thin lines. Print it on A4 paper at 200gsm or heavier so the fine lines stay crisp and don't bleed through.
