Easter Mandala #15 - Free Coloring Page

A striped, dotted Easter egg sits at the heart of this mandala, framed by tiny flowers, a chick, hearts and small clouds. Around it, a wide band of daffodils and tulips fans outward, broken by four crosses at the cardinal points and four rabbit heads tucked between the stems and leaves. At the very edge, a ring of decorated eggs - stripes, dots, chevrons - alternates with little chicks, flowers and spirals, closed off by two thin concentric circles.

The linework stays fine throughout, but the outer ring is the real test: each egg is divided into several small shapes to color separately - stripes, dots, chevrons. The middle band, with its large flowers and leaves, gives you roomier areas to work with. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with busy compositions; expect two to three hours to finish it.

Start with the flowers and leaves in the middle band before tackling the egg patterns at the edge, which are fiddly with a fine liner or a sharply pointed pencil. This printable mandala works fine at A4, though A3 shows off the ring of eggs better; use paper of at least 200 gsm if you're coloring with markers.
