Star flower core wrapped in roses, lattice and a leaf-crown border

A ring of pointed, veined leaves crowns the outer edge of this mandala, standing like rays inside a plain, unbroken circle. Moving inward, layered roses alternate with small pointed leaves around eight segments, above a tight lattice of hatched triangles, diamonds and dots on the same eight axes. At the core, a scalloped rosette filled with spirals wraps an eight-pointed star flower.

Linework stays fine throughout, down to the triangle hatching and leaf veins, so this mandala coloring page rewards patience over speed. It suits colorists already used to repetitive detail rather than a first attempt, and a full pass across every ring takes roughly an hour.

Fine liners or sharp colored pencils handle the triangle hatching and leaf veins better than broad markers. Starting at the central star flower helps gauge the detail before the denser rose band. As a printable mandala, it holds up best on A4 or letter paper at 200gsm or heavier.
