At the center of this mandala, a small round-petaled rosette opens the design, ringed by a crown of pointed, tulip-like petals that form a six-point star. Around it, two tiers of fully bloomed roses — about a dozen in all — alternate with leaves and tiny filler flowers that fill every gap. The outer edge repeats the same floral vocabulary with a tight garland of small rosebuds, closing on a clean double circular line, with no beading or scalloped cut.

The linework stays fine throughout, multiplying the small areas to color, especially inside the spiraling rose petals and the foliage surrounding them. This density makes the piece read as a printable mandala coloring page for hands already used to detail rather than a beginner exercise: expect several hours across two or three sessions to cover the whole sheet.

Fine markers or well-sharpened colored pencils suit the small rosebuds along the border better than a broad tip, since that band is the most delicate part of the drawing; the wider center is the easiest place to start.
