Natural Elements Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

Six butterflies with finely checkered, dot-patterned wings radiate outward from a heart made of a small central circle, a ring of six round shapes, and a six-petal rosette. Between their wings sit almond-shaped panels filled with spirals, tiny stars and fine hatching. Farther out, a band of heart-shaped petals gives way to a ring of slender pointed petals, and the edge closes in a lace of triangular leaf points bound by a thin double line.

The linework stays fine and even throughout, and the density is high: the butterfly wings, spirals and dotted textures break the surface into many small sections. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with detail work, steady enough to keep fine markers inside the tightly packed shapes near the center. Expect one to two hours to reach the outer band.

Fine colored pencils or 0.3 mm markers handle the dotted wings better than broad markers; start with the central rosette before moving into the denser butterflies. For a crisp result, this printable mandala works well at A4 on 200 gsm paper, thick enough to take repeated layers of pencil without showing through.
