At the center of this mandala, an eight-petaled flower built from striped, layered lines converges to a single point, framed by four spiral paisley shapes each marked with a small dot and linked by thin scrollwork. A ring of notched leaves, teardrops and small four-petaled flowers surrounds this core, closed off by a thin double circle. The entire outer width of the disc is filled with a band of round medallions alternating striped rosettes and larger flowers, ending in a clean double-circle edge with no beading or cut-out shape.

The linework stays fine and even from the center out to the medallions, with many small enclosed areas inside the striped petals and inside each medallion of the outer band: this printable mandala suits someone already comfortable with detailed coloring, and the dozens of near-identical medallions mean it takes several sittings to finish.

Fine-tipped markers or sharpened colored pencils handle the striped petals and the small medallions better than broad markers; start with the wider central flower before tackling the medallion band.
