Spring Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala, a large flower with six rounded petals opens like a star, surrounded by small flowers and buds filling the gaps between petals. A ring of spiraling curled leaves extends this floral core, alternating with small tight clusters of dots. Further out, a ring of tall, pointed flowers close to tulips stands at regular intervals, separated from the edge by a thin double circle. The outer contour is not a clean circle: two overlapping rows of pointed leaves form a jagged, tooth-like edge all around.

This mandala coloring page combines large surfaces at the center with tiny areas near the edge: the dot clusters and leaf veins need a fine line to stay legible. The density of detail in the outer ring suits someone used to precise work rather than a first-timer, and covering the whole design takes several hours.

Start with the six central petals using markers to lay down the main tones, then switch to a sharp colored pencil for the dots and pointed flowers at the border, which are more delicate.
