Unicorn Mandala #10 - Free Coloring Page

A ring of little foxes runs around the outer edge of this mandala, just inside the thin double circle that closes the design. Everything starts at the center though: a unicorn's head in profile, spiral horn and mane curled into long loose scrolls, framed inside a round medallion. Around it, a crown of pointed petals radiates like a sun, followed by a band of small clover shapes and triangles, then a row of elongated teardrops mixed with tiny stars. Further out, a zigzag ridge of mountain-like peaks leads into the animal band, where foxes and paisley swirls alternate all the way to the border.

The line stays fine throughout, but the open spaces vary a lot in size: the central medallion and the large petals leave room for shading, while the clovers, zigzags and fox silhouettes need a sharp point to stay inside the lines. This printable mandala suits colorists who already enjoy fine detail; expect several sittings to work from the unicorn's muzzle out to the last ring.

Start with the unicorn's head and its curling mane, the most delicate part of the drawing, before tackling the outer rings where focus tends to drift.
