Unicorn Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

Fine, tightly packed linework runs through this mandala, from the tiny stars at its heart to the sharp triangles at its rim. A unicorn head in profile, horn and flowing mane, sits inside four heart-shaped lobes scattered with stars and scrollwork. A wider ring of scalloped petals repeats the shape, marked this time with crescent moons. Beyond it, a band of pointed, feather-like leaves fans outward, small animal silhouettes tucked among them, before a dense sunburst border of triangles closes the design inside two thin circles. Linework stays fine and close throughout, especially in the feather band and the sunburst ring, where narrow triangles leave little room for a heavy pen. The heart-shaped lobes around the unicorn give more open space to fill. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colorist, teen or adult, over more than one sitting. Start with the unicorn head and its surrounding hearts before tackling the sunburst border, the sheet's most delicate part, where a fine liner reads better than a broad marker. This printable mandala holds up best at A3 on paper of at least 200gsm, sturdy enough for repeated strokes over the smallest stars.
