Unicorn Mandala #6 - Free Coloring Page

A front-facing unicorn head fills the central medallion of this mandala: pointed ears, a spiralling horn, a calm gaze, and a long mane that ripples out on both sides of the neck, set against a lace-like geometric backdrop. Two concentric rings surround it, divided by thin double circles, repeating six-pointed stars, crescent moons, small flowers and spiral scrollwork. The outer border drops these motifs for a wide band of tight diagonal hatching, like a twisted rope.

The linework stays fine throughout, with plenty of small repeated shapes across both star rings: this mandala coloring page suits colorists with some practice already, though the mane offers big, forgiving areas to warm up on. Expect several sittings to finish it, since the rope border calls for a steady alternation of tones along its whole length.

Start with the mane in broad strokes before tackling the stars and crescents one by one with a fine liner or a well-sharpened pencil, more precise than gel ink inside the tight double circles. For this printable mandala, A4 paper at 200gsm or heavier keeps the ink from bleeding through the hatched band.
