Unicorn Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

A unicorn's head in profile, spiral horn and curling mane scattered with tiny stars, fills the centre of this mandala. A thin ring of small linked circles wraps around the portrait, followed by a band of spirals and scrollwork. Further out, four winged unicorns leap across a wide starry band, trailing shooting stars, before a dense outer border of diamonds and triangles closes the design, finished with a plain double circular line.

Line weight stays fine throughout, tightening further in the outer geometric border, while the space around the unicorn's face and the winged-unicorn band leave room to breathe. This mandala coloring page suits hands already comfortable with detailed patterns, and takes two to four hours depending on how much care goes into the finer bands.

Start with the central portrait and the spiral ring, the easiest shapes to isolate, before tackling the outer border, where a fine-tipped pencil helps keep the small diamonds clean. Print this printable mandala on heavy paper, at least 160 gsm, in A4, so markers don't bleed through the sheet.
