At the center, an eight-petal, almond-shaped flower holds a fine web of scrollwork around a small inner blossom; immediately around it, a tight band of tiny triangles and flowerheads fills the ground without leaving open space. A first clean circle then frames a ring of flame-shaped points, each separated by a small flower and linked at their tips by round dots. A second circle introduces the outer band, where pleated fan shapes alternate with clusters of dot-tipped drops and further small flowers. The outer edge is a plain circle, with no beads or scalloping.
