Majestic Lion Mandala #43 - Free Coloring Page

The design centers on a perfectly symmetrical lion face seen head-on: detailed eyes, a nose covered in small dots standing in for whisker spots, and whiskers stretching outward into the mane. The mane itself is built from large petal-shaped points and coiled scrollwork radiating around the face. Beyond it, several concentric rings follow — floral rosettes, spirals and slender leaves fill the space out to the edge, which closes on a plain double circle line.

This mandala coloring page pairs large petal shapes in the mane with dense clusters of tiny zones in the outer rings and the dotted nose. The linework stays fine and tight throughout, so a full coloring session takes several hours, and the sheet suits teens and adults already comfortable with intricate mandalas more than young children.

Start with the face and the large mane points before moving into the outer rings, where the spirals and tiny dots call for a fine liner or a well-sharpened pencil rather than a broad marker. For this printable mandala, 200 gsm paper in A4 keeps ink from bleeding through on the densest sections.
