Tribal Wolf Mandala #40 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre of this mandala, a wolf's head faces forward and fills the inner circle: pointed ears, round eyes, a dotted nose, and a slightly open jaw showing its teeth. The fur is rebuilt from triangles, chevrons, spirals and dots, like tribal armour rather than real fur. A ring of uneven triangular rays surrounds the head like a sunburst, then a thin circular line opens onto a band of feathers, arrows, spirals and leaves, followed by a last ring of angular glyphs before a clean double circle closes the design.

The linework stays fine and dense from centre to edge: the wolf's fur and the tribal symbol band both demand precise filling of small cells, with only the triangular rays and the plain rings between bands offering any rest for the pencil. This mandala coloring page suits an experienced colourist rather than a beginner; expect three to five hours to complete the whole disc.

Start with the larger shapes - ears, cheeks, rays - before tackling the fur texture and the glyph band, the finest parts of the whole piece. A fine-tip pen or hard pencil holds these small motifs better than a broad marker. For this printable mandala, use thick paper of at least 200gsm, in A4 or A3, so ink does not bleed through the busiest areas.
