Small central rosette, eight interlaced ribbon loops, wide braided outer border.
A wide braided band, styled like Celtic interlace, runs unbroken around the whole design, framed on the outside by two thin concentric circles. Moving inward, eight ribbon-like loops knot together into an eight-pointed star around a small central circle holding a toothed rosette. Between the loops and the border, a ring of pointed triangles holds tiny hearts and slender curling leaf shapes.
The line stays fine across the whole mandala, and the cells to fill are numerous, especially inside the braided border and the central knotwork. This mandala coloring page rewards precision and a fine-tipped pen to avoid crossing into neighboring cells; it suits an experienced colorist more than a beginner, and easily takes two to three hours.
Start at the central circle and work outward loop by loop to keep the interlace aligned; save fine markers for the tiny hearts and the outer braid, the most delicate parts of the drawing.
