The scalloped outer edge is the most distinctive feature here: instead of a plain circle or a beaded ring, the border rises and dips in soft points, each flanked by a tiny diamond-shaped leaf poking out between the scrolls. Inside that edge, eight flame-shaped lobes of curling leaves and spirals wrap around a second ring of open hearts, which in turn surrounds a tight cluster of small hearts and dots circling a tiny toothed center.

Lines stay thin and doubled through almost the whole design, so the spirals and leaf veins break the page into many small, narrow areas rather than a few big ones. This printable mandala rewards patience - it suits an experienced colorist more than a beginner, and filling every scroll and heart takes a good two to three hours.

Fine-tip markers or sharp pencils handle the narrow spiral coils near the center far better than broad markers, and starting with the inner hearts before moving out to the larger lobes keeps the page easier to control.
