An eight-pointed star at the heart of a paisley design
An eight-pointed star sits at the centre of this printable mandala, left entirely open. Scalloped petals radiate out from it in a full corolla, followed by paisley teardrops that finish in tight spirals, with small hearts tucked between the motifs. Beyond that, a broad crown of tulip forms and scrolling curls repeats all the way round, each shape mirrored identically in four directions. The outer boundary is a single clean circle.
The linework stays generous and the shapes are more open than in many designs of this density — you can work without squinting. It suits anyone who wants a rich page without millimetre-precision work.
The symmetry is perfectly regular, so pick three or four colours and rotate them from one motif to the next; the composition resolves itself. The larger paisley teardrops take a gradient beautifully, running from the outer edge in toward the spiral at their centre. Print it at A4 on paper of at least 120 gsm if you are working with markers, and the ink will not bleed through.
