Dragon Mandala #13 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre, four tight spirals pair off around a vertical stack of small tapered points, packed in with a dense cluster of tiny circles like scales. Four large curved shapes fan out from this core, part horn, part wing, each lined with rows of minuscule circles. A ring of separate circles and pointed teardrops surrounds them, followed by a wide band of interlocking comma-shaped ribbons dotted with evenly spaced circles. A thin circle divides this band from an outer ring of small tight wave-spirals, just before the clean round line that closes the design.

This dragon mandala earns its name from those curved horns and dotted scales rather than from a literal dragon shape. The line stays fine throughout, but the cells to fill are small and numerous, especially in the outer wave band: this mandala coloring page rewards patience and suits an experienced colourist best.

Keep a fine liner or a sharply sharpened pencil for the central spirals and the wave band, the tightest areas, and start with the larger horn shapes first. This printable mandala works best on A4 paper at least 200gsm, so repeated colouring won't bleed through.
