Dragon Mandala #2 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala, four stylized dragons curl in a pinwheel around a shared point, wings spread and tails coiled, inside a round medallion. A very fine ring of interlaced scrollwork and swirls surrounds it, almost lace-like. A wide band follows, mixing small dragons, lattice-patterned diamonds, and four large layered petals at the cardinal points, then a Greek-key meander band and a scalloped outer edge.

The line stays thin throughout, especially in the scrollwork ring where the cells are tiny, so this mandala coloring page rewards a steady hand and fine tools. The cardinal petals and the meander band offer larger, calmer areas to fill. It suits an experienced colorist working over several sittings, roughly three to five hours.

Work the scrollwork ring and the dragons with a fine liner or a sharp pencil, and save the broad petals and scalloped edge for wider markers; start on those larger shapes before tackling the finer diamonds. This printable mandala holds its detail best at A3, on paper of at least 200 gsm so ink and marker don't bleed through.
