At the center, a small cluster of rounded petals forms a compact bud from which the pattern radiates. A ring of pointed petals surrounds it in an eight-point flower shape, followed by a second ring of large elongated petals, each crossed by fine vein lines fanning toward its tip. At the base of these petals, eight small motifs repeat: a diamond, a slender leaf, and a curled scroll. Two clean concentric circles close the design, a thin line outside and a thick line just inside, with no beads or scalloped edge.

The linework stays fine along the veins and scrolls, but the eight large petals leave wide, open surfaces that are easy to fill, which makes this mandala coloring page suited to a child as well as a busy adult. Expect thirty to forty-five minutes for the large areas, longer if the small scrolls and diamonds are also worked in detail.

On this design, start with the eight large petals using broad-tipped markers or pencils, then switch to a fine-tip pen for the veins and scrolls, the most delicate parts of the line. For printing, this printable mandala works best on A4 paper at 160 to 200 gsm, thick enough for markers and pencils without bleed-through.
