A smiling sun face surrounded by petals, hearts, stars and flowers.
A round, smiling sun face with closed eyes and rosy cheeks sits at the center of this printable mandala. Pointed petals radiate around it, some hollowed with a small spiral, others dotted with tiny circles. A ring of circles surrounds them, then a thin double line precedes a band of hearts and dots. The rim carries hearts, stars and flowers, closed by a clean double circle.
The line stays bold around the central petals, leaving large, easy-to-fill spaces even for a beginner's hand. Difficulty increases toward the rim, where the small hearts, stars and dots call for a finer tip. This mandala coloring page suits children on the sun and petals, while patient colorists can take their time on the border; plan for about an hour.
Start with markers on the face and big petals, then switch to fine colored pencils for the hearts and stars around the rim. The spirals and tiny dots inside the petals are the most delicate spots, so save them for last. For a crisp result, print this design on A4 200gsm paper.
