A dense ring of small zigzag triangles runs just inside the outer circle, clean and unbeaded. Closer to the center, eight house-shaped clusters, each crossed by an X into triangles, repeat at even intervals, linked by pointed triangle tips. An eight-pointed star of long slim triangles fills the middle band, mixed with tiny diamonds and squares, and at the very core a jagged ten-point rosette, almost like a small gear, closes the design.

The linework stays fine and even, but the cells are tiny, especially in the outer triangle band and the central mosaic: this mandala coloring page rewards patience and a steady hand. It suits an experienced colorist, teen or adult, comfortable with tight geometric patterns, and takes roughly two to three hours to fill completely. The eight larger house-shaped clusters offer a break between the finer triangle zones.

Start with the repetitive outer triangle band before tackling the central star, where the points narrow considerably; a sharp colored pencil or a 0.3 mm fineliner keeps ink from bleeding between neighboring cells.
