Triangles carry the entire design of this geometric mandala. At the middle, a small fine-pointed star surrounds a single dot, ringed by a thin band of tiny diamonds and dashes. A larger twelve-point star then sets the composition into twelve identical segments, packed with a tight lattice of facetted triangles that reads like cut crystal, out to a border strip of small triangles lined up near the edge. The outer edge itself is a clean, unbroken circle, with no beads or scalloping.

The line stays thin and even, but the triangular cells are small, especially in the outer band, so this mandala coloring page rewards a patient colorist, teen or adult, rather than a young child. The central star, with its wider points, fills in quickly and gives a satisfying result within the first few minutes. Expect several hours to complete all twelve segments.
