Organic Curves Mandala #27 - Free Coloring Page

A slender pointed star sits at the center of the mandala, wrapped around a tiny white core. A ring of small hearts tilted inward surrounds it, then a second ring unfolds into larger, rounded hearts that give the drawing its theme. Next comes a band of scalloped waves dotted with small clustered circles, followed by pointed almond-shaped petals where tiny heart tips still appear. The outer edge ripples with the petals instead of forming a clean circle.

The line stays thin and even from center to edge, but the spaces vary a lot in size: the inner hearts are small and packed close together, while the outer hearts and petals open into larger fields to fill in. This mandala coloring page suits colorists with a bit of experience already, since the dot clusters call for a fine-tipped marker. Expect around one to two hours depending on the care you put into it.

Start with the large hearts to set the structure, then finish with the dot clusters and small heart tips, the finest parts, using a fine liner or a sharpened pencil. For this printable mandala, choose heavier paper, at least 160 gsm, in A4 or US letter, so the ink doesn't bleed through.
