Mother's Day Mandala #5 - Free Coloring Page

Two open hands hold up a single flower at the very center, ringed by a heart-shaped rosette trimmed with small ornaments. One band of hearts alternates tiny children's faces with roses; a second, wider band repeats the same face-in-heart pattern at a larger scale, the hearts linked by swirling ribbons. The outer circle lines up paired birds facing each other, sprigs of flowers, a few words in cursive script, and small butterflies, all closed off by a clean double-line border.

Linework stays fine across the faces, feathers, and central ornaments, which multiplies the small spaces to fill, while the hearts and petals toward the edge give larger, easier surfaces. This mandala coloring page suits someone who enjoys lingering over detail - teens and adults more than young children - and takes roughly two to three hours from center to rim.

Fine markers or well-sharpened pencils handle the faces and birds along the border better than a broad-tipped pen; starting with the central hands and flower helps set a palette before carrying it out to the outer hearts. For this printable mandala, print on heavier stock around 200gsm in A4 or letter size so ink doesn't bleed through the busiest sections.
