Mother's Day Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

A heart left completely blank sits at the center of this mandala, the only shape in the whole design with nothing drawn inside it. It rests inside a medallion of spiral roses, small five-petaled flowers and tiny stars. Around it, large heart-shaped petals open like a blooming flower, mixed with scrollwork, small hearts and loose flowerheads. The design closes with a diagonally hatched band, like a woven ribbon, running between two thin double circles at the rim.

Linework stays fine and crowded near the center, where the roses coil into tight little spirals — this printable mandala rewards patience and suits an adult or a detail-loving teen better than a young child. The large petals in the middle open into calmer, roomier space after that dense start. Plan on two to three unhurried hours to finish it.

Save a fine liner or a sharp pencil for the roses and stars in the central medallion, then switch to a broader tip for the outer petals and the striped band.
