Ocean Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of the mandala, a small shell sits inside a round medallion, ringed by a rosette of scalloped petals fanning outward and bound by a crown of thin coiled spirals. Eight large pointed petals then reach toward the edge, standing out against a dense background of tiny flowers and clustered dots. The outer edge closes with two thin concentric circles linked by a band of curling spirals, like rolling waves.

The line work tightens noticeably in the flowery background between the eight petals — this is the most intricate zone of this mandala coloring page, packed with small spaces to fill one by one. The eight large petals, by contrast, offer wide, restful areas that even a beginner can handle easily. This mix of tight detail and open space suits both a quick session and a long, careful one; expect one to two hours to finish it.

Start with the eight large petals to lay down a base before tackling the dense field of small flowers and dots, which calls for a fine tip so the lines near the spiral border don't blur together. For this printable mandala, print on A4 paper with at least 200 gsm weight, sturdy enough to hold up to markers and colored pencils without bleeding through.
