Twelve star points wrap a spiral-scrolled central rosette.
The outline of this mandala breaks into points: twelve slender petals with sharp tips form a star-shaped silhouette rather than a plain circle. Between the points sit a small bud and a row of tiny dots. Moving inward, a ring of rounded, heart-shaped petals overlaps the points, then a band of spiraling scrolls alternates with small six-petaled flowers, closing on a compact rosette at the very center.
The line stays thin around the dots, buds and small six-petaled flowers, while the large pointed petals and spiral scrolls leave wide, easy areas to fill in. This mix of fine detail and generous space suits someone who already enjoys a mandala coloring page and doesn't mind spending an hour or two, switching between fine markers for the small parts and colored pencils for the broad points.
Start with the twelve outer points to set the rhythm, then work inward toward the scrolls, which take the most patience, saving a fine-tip pen for the dotted rows. This printable mandala holds up well on heavier 200gsm paper at A4 size.
