Winter Mandala #15 - Free Coloring Page

Dozens of tiny star-shaped bursts, like clusters of frost, fill the whole outer band of this printable mandala. They surround four large heart-shaped points that fan out like feathers toward the edge, themselves framed by tight coiled spirals, slim teardrops and small six-pointed stars. Two clean concentric circles separate this wide outer ring from a middle zone, before closing, at the very center, into a compact medallion of spirals curled into a four-armed cross, opened at its core by a small star. The outer edge stays a plain circle, with no beading or scalloping.

The linework is fine and dense, especially in the outer ring, where every snowflake, spiral and star forms a tiny space best handled with a fine-tip pen. The four heart-shaped points in the middle band are wider and give the hand room to lay down bolder blocks of color. Start with the central medallion before moving out to the snowflake band, where the narrow points are easiest to keep clean with a fine brush pen or a well-sharpened pencil.
