Yin Yang Mandala #1 - Free Coloring Page

The only part of this mandala already rendered in solid black and white is the centre itself: a classic yin-yang, one black comma-shape locked into one white comma-shape, each carrying a reversed dot of the opposite tone. Four rings spread outward from it: a band of scrolling swirls and small round beads, a wider band mixing straight sunburst lines with jagged zigzag peaks, a plain narrow ring, and a broad outer band split into eight segments where stylised dragon-like wings alternate with flame-shaped points. A clean double circle closes the design.

Linework stays fine throughout except at the already-black centre, leaving many small shapes to fill inside the swirls and the eight dragon segments: this mandala coloring page rewards a fine liner or a sharp pencil rather than a broad marker. It suits colourists used to detailed work, teens or adults, and takes an hour or more to cover all four rings without rushing the zigzags.

Start on the swirl ring around the yin-yang, the most even part, before tackling the eight dragon segments where lines tighten and a fine tip keeps edges crisp. Use heavy 200gsm A4 paper for this printable mandala so the finest lines hold up.
