Yin Yang Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, two spiral swirls form a yin-yang: each half holds a crescent moon, tiny stars and scrolling clouds, wrapped around a radiant sun at the very core. This heart is ringed by fine straight rays, then a band dotted with small stars. Around that sits a crown of arched panels filled with scrollwork, with short vertical lines marking the four cardinal points. Farther out, a wide border of layered lotus flowers and pointed leaves circles the whole design, before the edge closes on a Greek-key meander band framed by two clean circles.

The linework is fine and dense, especially at the center (stars, rays, scrollwork) and through the lotus border, which makes this mandala coloring page demanding: the shapes are small and numerous, better suited to colored pencils or fine markers than a broad tip. It suits an experienced colorist, teen or adult, and takes several hours spread across multiple sessions to complete.

Start with the central core, where the lines are finest, before your hand tires and precision slips; save broader markers for the lotus border and the outer band. For this printable mandala, choose heavy paper, at least 200 gsm, in A4 or letter size, so it won't buckle under ink.
