Yin Yang Mandala #2 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, two large curled comma shapes spiral into each other like a classic yin-yang: one encloses a small black-and-white yin-yang symbol, the other a curled fox-like creature, the whole surrounded by clouds, waves and thin straight rays. That central medallion is ringed by a band of radiating points, then a row of small flowers and scalloped fan petals, followed by a wide band of floral scrollwork and leaves repeating all the way around. Next comes a ring of stylized wing shapes dotted with small marks, then a border mixing geometric knotwork with foliage, closed off by a plain double-line circle with no beading or cut edge.

This mandala coloring page packs in very small compartments, especially in the flower and knotwork bands: the line stays fine from center to edge, which calls for patience and suits an experienced colorist more than a beginner. Plan on several sittings to fill every ring.

For this printable mandala, start with the central medallion using a fine liner or a sharply pointed pencil: the rays and spirals at the center are the narrowest areas to stay inside. Print on A3 paper at 200gsm or heavier so the outer bands stay readable.
