Yin Yang Mandala #8 - Free Coloring Page

At the centre, a classic yin-yang symbol - two interlocking comma shapes, each pierced by a small circle - sits inside a plain-bordered disc. A ring of pointed petals surrounds it, followed by a row of rounded, overlapping petals that form a stylised lotus flower. A pie-sliced band holds spiral scrolls and small four-petalled motifs, before a wide outer ring of open lotus blooms and curling vines closes the design, framed by a clean double circle.

The linework is fine and even, tightening in the outer ring where the tiny dotted flowers and scrollwork leave very small spaces to fill. The central medallion, with its broad petals, colors quickly and suits anyone starting a mandala coloring page before tackling the busier rim. Expect two to three hours for the whole piece, longer for careful shading in the segmented band.

Start with the central petals before moving out to the rim, where the scrolls and dotted flowers call for a sharpened colored pencil rather than a broad marker that would spill past the finest lines. This printable mandala holds its detail well at A4, printed on paper of at least 200gsm so repeated coloring won't buckle the sheet.
