Six identical arms of scrollwork spin out from the middle of this mandala, built from tightly curled paisley shapes reminiscent of Art Nouveau ironwork. At the very center sits a small star made of slender pointed petals; six heart-shaped motifs grow from it, each holding a tight spiral and a pair of small round 'eyes'. Long comma-shaped swirls unfurl from those hearts toward the rim, curling into fine coils and blending into pointed leaf shapes that fill the remaining space.
