A six-point star circled by spirals, paisley swirls and leaf flourishes.
A small six-point star, made of two overlapping triangles and ringed with fine spirals, sits at the centre. Six pointed, almond-shaped petals open around it. Then a band of large paisley-style commas, trimmed with small hearts and tight spirals, repeats six times. The rest of the space fills with pointed leaves and acanthus scrollwork, out to a plain, clean outer circle with no beading.
Lines stay fine throughout, and many shapes narrow to leaf tips or spirals just a few millimetres wide, especially in the outer band: this mandala coloring page suits a hand already used to small spaces. Allow a good hour to work from centre to rim. The paisley commas give wider areas to breathe in between.
A fine liner or a sharpened pencil glides through the central spirals and the small hearts in the middle ring better than a broad marker; start there before the wider petals, which fill in faster. This printable mandala holds its detail best on A4 paper of at least 200gsm.
