Long comma-shaped scrolls spiral around a small star rosette at the heart of the mandala. Each curl ends in a small round eye, echoing a peacock feather or a paisley curl. They give way to four large heart-shaped fans, ribbed like stylised tulip petals. Toward the rim, pointed leaves, small flower buds, diamonds and dotted patches lead to an almost circular edge, gently rippled by small leaf-like points.

The line stays thin throughout, and the compartments multiply rather than grow: the central scrolls and the dotted patches are among the smallest areas to fill. This printable mandala suits someone already used to careful, patient coloring, capable of holding a steady line over long stretches, and takes several hours across more than one sitting.

Fine-tipped pencils or markers work better than broad markers here, especially on the eye-shaped scrolls and the dotted band near the edge, where any overshoot shows at once.
