A ring of paired spirals, each coiled like a small scrolled heart, wraps around a tight core of eight pointed petals arranged in a star at the centre. Beyond it, wide bands of interlacing scrollwork spread outward: curling tendrils, slender leaves, and small diamond accents fill the space toward the edge. The outer silhouette isn't a plain circle — it closes in eight lobed points where leaf tips and curls meet, giving the design an uneven, flower-like edge.

The linework is fine and often doubled into parallel outlines, breaking the outer band into many small cells. The central star of eight petals colors quickly, a good starting point on this mandala coloring page; the spiral ring and outer scrollwork take longer, since the coils narrow and cross repeatedly. Expect ninety minutes to two hours for the full sheet.

Work the small central petals first, then move to the paired spirals before the outer scrollwork, where the lines pinch tight enough that a fine liner or sharp colored pencil keeps color inside the bands. For this printable mandala, print at A4 or letter size on paper of at least 160gsm so repeated marker layers in the dense outer band don't bleed through.
