A small open octagon sits at the very centre of this mandala, ringed by eight tiny points and curled hearts, then by a second ring of eight spiral scrolls separated by slender petals. A thin circle closes this rosette before a wide band of Celtic-style interlacing, dotted with larger spirals and flame-shaped points, takes up nearly half the design, ending in a braided border just inside the outer line.

The line stays fine and even throughout, but density shifts sharply: the central rosette leaves fairly generous spaces for a relaxed mandala coloring page, while the outer band packs in many small tight cells where the ribbons cross. This printable mandala suits a hand already comfortable with intricate patterns; expect more than one sitting, since the braided border alone demands real patience.

Sharp colored pencils or fine liners work better here than broad markers, so the tightest interlacing doesn't fill in. Start with the central octagon and spirals before tackling the wide knotwork band, saving the braided border for last, the thinnest part of the whole drawing. For printing, heavyweight A3 paper gives the band's small cells enough room to stay open.
