Celtic Knot Mandala #24 - Free Coloring Page

Six interlaced spirals knot together at the centre of this design, framed by a ring of six shield-shaped knots split by small triangles. A thin circle marks off a middle band where compact Celtic knots alternate with crosses and diamonds, arranged like spokes around the ring. Past a second fine line, the outer band takes over — wider and busier, packed with large knotted loops and small spirals — before a clean double circle closes the composition with no beads or scalloping.

The linework stays fine and even throughout, but the enclosed cells shrink considerably in that outer band, so this printable mandala rewards a hand used to filling small spaces: fine liners or a sharp coloured pencil work better here than broad markers. Finishing all three rings takes several sittings.

Start with the central rosette, where the shapes are larger and more forgiving, before tackling the tightly interlaced outer ring, the trickiest part to keep within the lines. For this mandala coloring page, print on heavy paper — at least 200gsm — in A3 if possible, so the smallest cells in the outer band stay easy to work in.
