At the center, a tiny eight-pointed star opens onto a white pinpoint, ringed by small circles and then by rounded petals, each hollowed with a dot. A row of small coiled spirals follows, before a wide band of crossing ribbons — the knotwork proper — takes over the whole surface, closing on a ring of heart shapes framing solid triangles and eight slender points that reach the double outer circle.

The line stays fine throughout, but the cells inside the central interlace band are tiny, so this mandala coloring page rewards a steady hand and plenty of patience — better suited to colorists already comfortable with detail work than to beginners. Expect several sittings to finish it properly.
