Zentangle Mandala #22 - Free Coloring Page

This mandala's outline is not a plain circle: it breaks into eight wide points, each topped with a small heart and flanked by two long leaf-shaped almonds. Moving inward, a ring of teardrops sits before a wavy band of small scallops, then a ring of fine spirals and a circle of small round beads. At the very center, a pointed flower surrounds a slim star radiating from a single point.

The line stays thin and clean from center to edge, but density shifts a lot: the outer points and almond shapes leave wide, restful spaces, while the scalloped band, the spirals and the beads call for a fine marker and a steady hand. This printable mandala coloring page suits an adult or teen already used to detailed work better than a complete beginner, and takes more than one sitting to finish without rushing.

Start with the central flower and the ring of beads, easy to isolate, before tackling the spirals and the scalloped band, the finest parts of the drawing, best handled with a sharpened colored pencil rather than a broad marker. For this printable mandala, choose thick paper of at least 200 gsm in A4 size, so it holds up to marker ink without bleeding or warping.
