Elegant Butterfly Mandala #12 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a stylized lion's face fills most of the mandala: the muzzle is covered in fine spirals and small floral patterns, the eyes are framed by symmetrical curls, and the nose is flanked by round dots standing in for whiskers. The mane spreads into broad pointed locks shaped like flame-petals, reaching a thin circular line. Beyond it, a ring of lance-shaped petals, then a band of floral rosettes and diamond shapes, lead to the crisp double-line circle that closes the disc.

The linework stays thin and dense throughout, as much in the face as in the outer rings. The muzzle and eyes offer small spaces that call for patience, while the mane's petals leave wider areas to rest in between. This mandala coloring page suits teens and adults fairly used to detailed work, over more than one sitting.

A fine liner or a sharply pointed pencil keeps the face's spirals clean without bleeding over; start with the broader mane before the tight patterns around the eyes and muzzle. For crisp results on these fine lines, this printable mandala prints well at A4 on paper of at least 200gsm.
