Majestic Lion Mandala #19 - Free Coloring Page

At the center of this mandala, a stylized cat face looks straight out: pointed triangular ears, large almond eyes with diamond-black pupils, a tiny nose dotted with small points, and whiskers that curl into spirals. The fur is filled with spirals, teardrops and petals in perfect symmetry, and petals beneath the chin form a small ruff. Around it, a band of zigzag chevrons and then an eight-pointed star built from triangles lead out to a clean double-line circle, with no beading and no scalloped edge.

The linework is fine and dense across the face, where spirals, dots and small scale shapes crowd together, opening into calmer triangles and chevrons further out. This mandala coloring page rewards a steady hand and suits teens and adults better than a first attempt; expect two to four hours depending on how much detail you chase in the face.

Start with the smallest areas first - the whisker spirals and the tiny petals around the eyes - with a fine liner or a sharply pointed pencil, then move to the wider star triangles with a broader marker. For this printable mandala, use 200 gsm paper at A4 size to keep ink from bleeding through and the lines crisp.
